Hello. I'm Steve and I’m back in the Chair’s seat for a third… no, fourth time! Leading the organisation out of tricky times and nurturing a youthful, promising leadership team.

During my first stint, from May 2011 to April 2013, I lead a rebrand of the organisation from the Publicity Association of Central England back to the organisation's original name of the Birmingham Publicity Association. I also lead the team through a period of exponential growth both in terms of membership signups and charitable donations. Membership grew by more than 280% with over £26,000 donated to good causes during my two years in post.

In my day job, I am an independent creative director. I help organisations to discover their truth through effective brand strategies and compelling marketing campaigns. Processing swathes of reference to spot common themes, cut to the chase and let that which does not matter simply fade away. I am often a graphic designer, art director, writer, maker, brand builder and a leader.
