I’m Scott Campbell, Group Manager for the Central Region at ITV, working across the Midlands as part of the commercial team. I joined ITV back in 2009 in the ITV Sport department, where I worked across some of the biggest sporting tournaments on television. Four years later, I moved back to Birmingham to join the Viewer Services team before transitioning into the Commercial team in 2016.

Over the years, I’ve built extensive experience across linear advertising, digital, sponsorship, partnerships, licensing and new-business generation, helping brands connect with audiences at scale. I’m fortunate to have developed strong connections across the talent and celebrity world and have also produced a variety of creative video content throughout my career.

As a proud Brummie, joining the BPA’s Leadership Team means a great deal to me. I’m passionate about the city and want to do everything I can to help promote Birmingham, put it firmly on the map, and ensure we continue to build a strong and supportive network for people across our industry. Earlier in my career, I also wrote reviews for regional publications including the Birmingham Mail, which gave me another perspective on the city’s vibrant cultural scene.

Outside of work, I’m a keen runner and have completed more than 10 London Marathons and over 100 half marathons, raising in excess of £10,000 for charitable causes including the RSPCA, Birmingham Dogs Home, Love Brum and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. I’m a black belt in karate and became World Champion at the FSKA World Karate Championships in Las Vegas in 2002. I also hold two official Guinness World Records and am a published author with books available on Amazon. A few years ago, I also appeared on the national TV show Judge Romesh, although, to this day, nobody has ever asked me for an autograph or a selfie off the back of it. Above all, I’m a proud dad to Freddie and Louie.
