We’re relishing the future following our 2023 AGM.

New members of the BPA Leadership Team have been signed up to help drive the organisation forward.

The group, which is now 77 years old, currently has Selena Higgins-McCarron and Steve Price, who are both veterans of the BPA, as Co-chairs.

The pair have been working hard at creating a group of leadership team members to the helm bringing fresh creative ideas and ensuring the continuing success of the networking group.

The BPA, which brings together advertising, marketing and media people from across the region, has recently welcomed a host of changes, including moving away from the management group from being referred to as ‘council’ to the leadership team.

It has also been re-evaluating its networking schedule held throughout the year to make sure it continues to be relevant.

The recent AGM enrolled new members from Tank Top Media, Total Media, Creative Alliance and BBJ&K who will be bringing their expertise in marketing, social event planning and design and bolstering the team.

Picking up the annual accolades included Becky McElroy from M3.Agency who was awarded the Longley Merit Cup for her work on last years’ Christmas lunch. This is awarded each year to the person who has contributed the most to the BPA over the past year.

The Chairman’s Award was handed to Emma Hynes from BBJ&K for a great start to her work with the BPA and masterminding the BPA’s most successful Spring event in a decade.

BPA Co-chair Steve Price said: “We have got a really engaged and energetic group wanting to take the BPA forward so the upcoming year is really exciting for us, and we can’t wait to meet our members at the events we have got planned.”
